Transforming Outdoor Learning at Fosse Mead – Play, Explore, Grow!

At Fosse Mead Primary Academy, we’re excited to transform our outdoor spaces into fun, engaging learning areas! Our motto, “Together We Make a Positive Difference,” drives us to create spaces where every child can explore, learn, and grow beyond the classroom.

We are trying to raise £5,000 across a range of activities to support this project.

Our Exciting Projects:

1. Interactive Learning Zones – We’re creating hands-on, nature-inspired sensory areas to support all students, especially to help those with additional needs. These spaces will spark curiosity and encourage active learning.
2. Energised Play Areas – Our playgrounds will be brighter, more exciting spaces that help children develop communication and language skills through play.

Why Outdoor Learning Matters:

• Encourages Teamwork – Playing and learning outside helps children build social skills and work together.
• Builds Confidence – Outdoor challenges teach resilience, independence, and problem-solving.

How You Can Help:

1.Donate – Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to our goal. If you’re a UK taxpayer, ticking Gift Aid adds 25% more at no extra cost! We are looking to raise £5,000.

2. Share – Spread the word to family, friends, and your community to help us reach more supporters.
3. Volunteer – Whether it’s skills, time, or materials, your help makes a real difference.
